Flame thrower Herb Score had an abbreviated career due to injuries but is still remembered from those who played against him to be one of the best ever. Score was an All-Star as well as Strikeout leader for both the 1955 and 1956 season. Score was struck in the eye by a Gil McDougal line drive in 1957 and although he recovered he pitching career was never quite the same. Score has added his signature to the sweet spot of this baseball. Very nice signature from this former great!
