Willie Wilson played for 19 years in the show hitting triples for the Kansas City Royals(1976-90), Oakland A's (1991-92), and Chicago Cubs (1993-94). During that time he amassed 2,207 Hits, 41 Homers, 668 Stolen bases, and 585 RBIs. Wilson received 2 All-Star nominations (1982,83), 2 Silver Slugger Awards (1980,82), 1 Gold Glove (1980), and an A.L. Batting Championship (1982). Wilson also played on 2 Kansas City World Series teams (1980,85) Winning it all in the 1985 season. Wilson was presented this award for his achievements on the basketball court while attending Summitt High School. Wilson has added his signature to this attractive plaque.
