Roger Maris enjoyed a 12 year career in the majors. Along the way Maris took part in 4 All-Star games as well as 7 World Series. Maris also captured 2 American League MVP Awards. Maris is perhaps best remembered for breaking Babe Ruth's single season Home Run record by slugging an astounding 61 round trippers during the 1961 season.
