Pitcher Mike Hedlund pitched 6 seasons in the Majors the majority of which were with the Kansas City Royals. Hedlund was selected by the Royals in the 1969 expansion draft and sported this jersey and pants ensemble in the Kansas City franchise first year of existence.The original 1969 patch is still attached to the sleeve and an undershirt, stirrups, and belt are included in this lot. Fantastic rarely seen complete uniform package dating to the Kansas City Royals 1st year of existence!!!
