This 1953 Mickey Mantle Bowman reprint card was produced by the company in 1989. Mickey Mantle signed his autograph and added rare inscriptions (’56, ’57, ’62 MVP) to the card following the cards production. The autograph and inscriptions have been deemed authentic by the experts at PSA/DNA and the signed card has been encapsulated in a tamper proof holder. It should be noted that this card may be a true 1/1 since we have never before witnessed a bubble gum style card where “The Mick” added his American League MVP Years as an inscription along with his classic autograph.
