U.L. Washington played 11 years in the bigs stepping into the lights for the Kansas City Royals (1977-84), Montreal Expos (1985), and Pittsburgh Pirates (1986-87). Washington was a solid shortstop and collected 703 hits, 27 Homers, and 255 RBI's while manning the position. A key part to the perennial Royals playoff teams of the late 70's and early 80's, Washington played in 1 Division series (1981), 2 ALCS (1980,84), and 1 World Series (1980). This bat shows nice use and dates to the 1980-83 seasons. Washington has added his signature to the barrel of the bat. Nice signed gamer that dates to the most productive portion of Washington's career!
