Perez has already established himself as one of the games great catchers collecting 7 All-Star nominations as well as 5 Gold Gloves. Beyond being a strong armed defensive catcher Perez is also very apt with the bat and set the record for home runs in a season with 48 in 2021. Perez was a key member of the Kansas City Royals 2014 A.L. Championship and 2015 World Series Championship garnering MVP honors in the latter. This gamer dates to the 2015 season.
