Rick Sutcliffe pitched 18 season in the majors, taking the mound for the L.A.Dodgers (1976 & 1978-81), Cleveland Indians (1982-84), Chicago Cubs (1984-91), Baltimore Orioles (1992-93), and St. Louis Cardinals (1994). Sutcliffe was a 3x All-Star, 1979 ROY, and 1984 N.L. CY Young winner. Sutcliffe sported this hat in the 1987 All-Star game while a member of the Chicago Cubs. The 1987 All-Star game featured some of the greatest pitching ever in an All-Star game and Sutcliffe certainly did his part firing 2 scoreless innings against the A.L. squad. This relic from the 1987 mid-summer classic shows light wear with some slight staining along the sweat band of the hat. Sutcliffe's player number 40 rests on the under brim of the hat along with the notation "All-Star Game 1987" in Sutcliffe's hand. Very nice game used All-Star game relic from this popular pitcher!!!
