Bob Heise played 11 seasons in the majors taking the field for the New York Mets (1967-69), San Francisco Giants (1970-71), Milwaukee Brewers (1971-73), St. Louis Cardinals (1974), California Angels (1974), Boston Red Sox (1975-76), and Kansas City Royals (1977). Heise was a valued reserve throughout his career and although he never played in a playoff game or World series he was a member of the 1969 World Series Champion Mets, 1975 Boston Red Sox A.L. Champion, and 1977 Kansas City Royals A.L. West Champion teams. This gamer was used by Heise during the 1977 season while he was a member of the Kansas City Royals. The bat shows heavy use and Heise's player number 6 rests on the knob. Tough to find gamer from this popular role player!!!
