Dwight Evans played 20 seasons in the majors taking the field for the Boston Red Sox (1972-90) and Baltimore Orioles (1991). Evans was a 3x All-Star and was awarded 8 Gold Gloves during his career. Certainly one of the more under appreciated outfielders of the 1970's and 1980's Evans was not only a great glove but also a potent bat as he collected 385 Homers and 2,446 Hits during his career. Evans was a member of 2 Boston Red Sox World Series teams batting .300 in 14 World Series games. This bat was used by Evan's during the 1977-79 seasons. The bat shows heavy use and has a small chip missing on the knob. Evan's number 24 rests on the knob in black ink. Very nice prime career gamer from this popular Red Sox player!!!
