Bill Tuttle played 11 seasons in the majors taking the field for the Detroit Tigers (1952 & 1954-57), Kansas City Athletics (1958-61), and Minnesota Twins (1961-63). Tuttle was a solid outfielder during his career providing solid defense and an apt bat. This game used bat was used by Tuttle during the 1956 season while he was a member of the Detroit Tigers. The bat shows heavy use and Tuttle's player number 13 rests on the knob. The handle of the bat exhibits a crack that lies beneath vintage tape. 20+ members of the 1956 Kansas City Athletics have added there signatures to the barrel of the bat. Signatures include Bobby Shantz, Harry Simpson, Hector Lopez, Harry Craft, Vic Power, Lou Boudreau, Clete Boyer, Enos Slaughter, and others. Nice game used signed relic!!!
