Kent Hadley played 3 seasons in the majors taking the field for the Kansas City A's (1958-59) and New York Yankees (1960). Hadley was the A's starting first baseman during the 1959 season hitting 10 HR with 39 RBI's. The next season he was included in the Roger Maris trade to the Yankees where he played a reserve role for the eventual A.L. Champs. Hadley took his game to Japan in 1962 where he had a successful career with the Nankai Hawks, leading them to the Japan Series title in 1964. Hadley swung this bat during the 1958-59 seasons while with the Kansas City A's. The bat shows outstanding use and has a handle crack. Hadley's player number 18 rests on the knob. Tough to find gamer from Pocatello, Idaho's favorite son!
