Bret Saberhagen broke onto the scene in 1985 compiling a 20-6 record as well as a 2.87 ERA. These numbers led to him being named the 1985 A.L. Cy Young. That would be well enough for some youngsters but Sabes took it one step further putting on a dominating performance in the 1985 World Series posting a 2-0 record with 2 Complete Games and an ERA of 0.50!!!!
