Darryl Motley enjoyed a 6 year career in the bigs 4 of which were with the Kansas City Royals. Motley was a key component of the 1984 A.L. West Champion and 1985 World Series Champion Kansas City Royals. Motley was a solid corner outfielder and provided some pop in the line-up hitting 32 homers over those 2 seasons. Motley also homered in Game 7 of the 1985 WS. This bat dates to the 1980-83 seasons while Motley was in Kansas City. The bat shows evidence of use however the majority of use was removed when the bat was refinished. Despite this fact the bat remains an attractive collectible from this popular player!
