Rip Radcliff played 10 seasons in the majors taking the field for the Chicago White Sox (1934-39), St. Louis Browns (1940-41), and Detroit Tigers (1941-43). Radcliff was an All-Star in 1936 and was a productive hitter throughout his career. This bat was used by Radcliff in 1946-47 while as a 40 year old he was batting .300 for Chattanooga of the Southern League. The bat shows excellent use and has a repaired crack. At some point a finish was applied to the bat post use. Tough to find game used item from this former All-Star! PSA letter accompanies this lot.
