Freddie Patek played 14 years in the majors shoring up the middle infield for the Pirates (1968-70), Royals (1971-79), and Angels (1980-81). Patek picked up 1,340 hits, 41 Home Runs, 490 RBI, and 385 Stolen Bases during his career. In addition to Patek's ability to handle the bat he was also an outstanding fielder. These qualities helped him receive 2 All-Star nominations (1976, 1978). This bat shows outstanding use and Patek has signed the barrel beautifully!! Patek brandished this particular bat during the 1976 season while helping to lead the Kansas City Royals to there first playoff experience while also being named to his first All-Star team. Patek batted .389 and drove in 4 runs for the Royals during the ALCS versus the eventual World Champion New York Yankees. Fantastic signed gamer from this popular Royal!!! PSA has assigned this bat a grade of 9!!
