Skip James played two seasons in the majors in 1977 and 1978 with the San Francisco Giants. Following his major league career James played a few seasons in Japan before taking an assistant coaching job at the University of Kansas where he had played football and baseball as a collegiate. This bat dates to the 1977-78 seasons and shows moderate use. James has added his signature to the barrel of the bat. Nice signed gamer from this former player!!!
