Al Smith played 12 seasons in the majors taking the field for the Cleveland Indians (1953-57 & 1964), Chicago White Sox (1958-62), Baltimore Orioles (1963), and Boston Red Sox (1964). Smith was named to 3 All-Star teams during his career and helped lead the 1954 Cleveland Indians and 1959 Chicago White Sox to World Series births. This gamer was used by Smith during the 1961-63 seasons. The bat shows excellent use and has a handle crack. Smith has added his signature to the barrel of the bat.
