Jim Schaffer played 8 seasons in the majors as a back up catcher (1961-68). Following his playing career Schaffer was an important member of the Kansas City Royals 1980 and 1985 World Series coaching staffs. This gamer was used by Schaffer during the 1968 season while he was a member of the Cincinnati Reds. The bat shows moderate to heavy use and is uncracked. Nice gamer from this popular player and coach!!!
