Ozzie Smith played 19 seasons in the bigs making dazzling plays for the San Diego Padres (1978-81) and St. Louis Cardinal (1982-1996). "The Wizard" was awarded 13 Gold Gloves during his career and is regarded as one of the finest fielding shortstops to play the game. Smith was also a 15x All-Star ,collected 2,460 Hits , and stole 580 bases during his career. Smith was elected to the Hall of Fame in 2002 and was a member of the 1982 World Series Champion St. Louis Cardinals. Smith sported this bat during the 1991-96 seasons. The bat shows moderate use and has a slight handle crack. "OZ" is written on the knob in black sharpie and Smith has added his signature to the barrel of the bat.
