A 15 year veteran Alonzo Mourning was named to 7 All-Star teams as well as being named NBA defensive player of the year twice. Selected by the Charlotte Hornets with the 2nd pick of the 1992 draft out of Georgetown Mourning was already thought of as a formidable low post presence. Mourning wore this jersey during the 1994-95 season his 3rd and final with the Hornets. Named an All-Star for the 2nd time Mourning averaged 21.3 ppg, 9.9 rpg, and 2.9 bpg. during the season. The following year Mourning was traded to the Miami Heat where he would play the majority of his career over 2 stints including a spot on the 2006 World Championship team.
