George Foster played for 18 seasons in the majors slugging home runs for the San Francisco Giants (1969-71), Cincinnati Reds (1971-81), N.Y. Mets (1982-86), and Chicago White Sox (1986). Foster was a 5x All-Star as well as a member of 3 Cincinnati Reds World Series teams. A feared hitter Foster hit 348 home runs while maintaining a .274 batting average over his career. This bat dates to the 1985 season while Foster was a member of the New York Mets. This bat shows moderate use and is missing a small portion of the back barrel. Teammates Lenny Dykstra (#4) and Larry Bowa (#2) numbers rest on the knob leading us to believe that this is a dual player bat. Nice gamer!
