Dusty Baker played 19 years in the bigs suiting up for the Braves (1968-75), Dodgers (1976-83), Giants (1984), and A's (1985-86). Baker gathered 1,981 hits, 242 homers, and 1,013 RBI in his career. Baker was named to 2 All-Star teams, won a Gold Glove (1981), was voted N.L.C.S MVP (1977), and won 2 Silver Slugger Awards (1980,1981). Baker played on 3 Dodger World Series teams including the World Series Champion 1981 squad. Baker and former Dodger teammate Glenn Burke are also credited with inventing the "High Five". After his playing career Baker went on to a highly successful managerial career where he was a 3 time N.L. Manager Of The Year. This bat dates to the 1973-75 Season and shows heavy use. Baker's player number 12 rests on the knob and the barrel has been signed by his 1976 Dodgers teammates and coaches.
