This 1963 Cleveland Indians Bob Chance jersey certainly made the rounds. Originating in 1963 for Chance and tagged as such the jersey then encountered a number Change from navy 21 to Red 21 to both the front and back of the jersey. The jersey was then used in the minors or perhaps the majors. Colavito was 21 in 1967 for the Tribe but a recycled jersey for a player of that caliber seems unlikely. Later Hedlund was added to back at some point from 1967-68. The logo and pipping remain original as is the Wilson tagged 63. The pants included in this lot are tagged 1967 #26 which was Lee Maye which were then worn by #28 which was Richie Schienbam. 2-Red Dickies, and stirrups from 1967 also accompany this lot. The jersey and pants both show heavy wear and moth holes are present. Despite the Cleveland Indians getting everything they possibly could out of this jersey set it remains an attractive collectable!!!
