Orlando Cepeda played 17 seasons in the majors taking the field for the San Francisco Giants (1958-66), St.Louis Cardinals (1966-68), Atlanta Braves (1969-72), Oakland A's (1972), Boston Red Sox (1973), and Kansas City Royals (1974). Cepeda played in 6 All-Star games during his career and was awarded the MVP award in 1967. After collecting 2,351 hits and swatting 379 HR's during his MLB tenure Cepeda was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1999. This game used bat dates to the 1974 season, Cepeda's last in the majors. The bat shows outstanding use and has been signed by Cepeda with the inscription "My Game bat". The bat is uncracked and has been photo matched (see photo).
