Lou Whitaker manned second base for the Detroit Tigers for 18 seasons collecting 3 Gold Gloves (1983-85) as well as appearing in 5 All-Star games (1983-87). In addition to the previously mentioned hardware Whitaker also took home 1978 Rookie Of The Year honors as well as 4 silver slugger awards (1983-85,1987). Whitaker also helped lead the Tigers to there 1984 World Series Championship. This bat dates to the 1980-83 seasons and shows heavy use with a handle crack. Whitaker's player number 1 rests on the knob. Very nice game used example from this popular player!!!
