Jerry May played 10 seasons suiting up for the Pittsburgh Pirates (1964-70), Kansas City Royals (1971-73), and the New York Mets (1973). May collected 357 Hits, 15 Home runs, and 130 RBI's during his career. Although May's offensive number aren't staggering it's his defensive ability that kept him in the game. May threw out 42.57% of the base runners who tried to steal against him good for 11th best of All-Time. On June 12th 1970 May caught Dock Ellis No-Hitter although Ellis still claims it was a giant pink rabbit! This 1969-72 gamer shows excellent use and has a handle crack. May's player number 12 rests on the knob and the handle shows some discoloration due to a previous tape job to conceal the crack. Nice gamer from this popular catcher!!!
