Hernandez played in 5 All-Star games and was a key member of 2 World Series Championship teams (1982 Cardinals & 1986 Mets). A highly decorated player Hernandez was awarded 11 Gold Gloves, 2 Silver Sluggers, and was named 1979 N.L. MVP during his extremely productive career.
