Steve Balboni was certainly one of the Royals great sluggers of the Mid-80's. Bye Bye Balboni hit a Royals franchise high 36 homers in 1985 while a member of the a World Series Champs. This bat shows nice use.The knob bares the number 47 in black ink. Neither Balboni or any rostered teammate wore the number 47 leading us to believe that this bat was used in spring training by an unknown player.
