Presented here is a 1976 George Brett Bicentennial signed game used bat, graded PSA GU 8, a highly desirable example from one of the most recognizable and historically significant hitter in the game. The 1976 season marked a pivotal point in Brett’s career, as he hit .333 and finished second in the American League MVP voting, and achieved his first batting title, firmly cementing his status as the face of the franchise and a perennial superstar. George Brett is one of the most iconic figures in Kansas City Royals history and one of the greatest pure hitters of the modern era. A lifelong Royal, Brett made his Major League debut in 1973 and quickly established himself as an elite offensive force, ultimately finishing his career with over 3,000 hits, a .305 lifetime batting average, and three batting titles across three different decades. Inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1999, Brett’s legacy endures as the standard by which all Royals greats are measured.
