Freddie Patek played 14 years in the majors shoring up the middle infield for the Pirates (1968-70), Royals (1971-79), and Angels (1980-81). Patek picked up 1,340 hits, 41 Home Runs, 490 RBI, and 385 Stolen Bases. In addition to Patek's ability to handle the bat he was also an outstanding fielder. These qualities helped him receive 2 All-Star nominations (1976, 1978). A member of the Kansas City Royals Hall Of Fame Patek was all hustle an attribute that made him a fan favorite. This unique group of uniforms were worn by Patek during the popular SuperTeams competition and a Bowling Competition. Patek and his Kansas City Royals teammates tied the Dallas Cowboys in the 1978 SuperTeams competition with Patek competing in the following events running relay, tandem bike relay, obstacle course, as well as the team events. Very cool event worn relics from this popular player!
