Doc Edwards played 5 years in the Majors taking the field for the Cleveland Indians (1962-63) Kansas City A's (1963-65), New York Yankees (1965), and Philadelphia Phillies (1970). Edwards collected 216 Hits, 15 Home Runs, and 87 RBI's in his career. Edwards did what many back-up catchers do after there career concludes and tried his hand at coaching eventually parleying in into a managerial job with the Cleveland Indians (1987-89). Edwards sported this glove while he was with the Kansas City A's in the mid 1960's. Following Edwards using the glove it was handed down to A's announcer Monty Moore and used by his son hence the name Moore written on the glove. Despite secondary use still a great game-used item from this former skipper!!! Picture match of Edwards with glove at foot accompanies lot.
