Frank White won an astonishing 8 Gold Gloves while manning the 2nd base position for the Kansas City Royals. In addition White also was a 5X All-Star , Silver Slugger Winner, ALCS MVP, and Member of the 1985 World Series Champion Kansas City Royals. White first sported this Rawlings glove in 1983. White's gloves are rarely offered at auction and this one is a fantastic example. The glove shows extensive wear and the pinky finger has White and his player number 20 with a smiley face in the zero written in vintage marker. The red Rawlings label has been sewn over with a Rawlings Gold Label which was only available through Rawlings for Gold Glove Award winners. White has added his signature in faded blue marker on the index finger of the glove. Stunning relic from this smooth fielding second baseman! PSA letter accompanies this lot.
