Bill Virdon enjoyed a productive playing career that included a World Series Championship with the 1960 Pittsburgh Pirates. After his playing career concluded Virdon transitioned into the coaching and managerial ranks posting a record of 995-921 as a skipper for several teams. This game used full uniform dates to the 1971 season while Virdon was a coach with the Pitsburgh Pirates. The Pirates would finish the 1971 season as World Series Champions. The jersey, pants , and stirrups were all issued to Virdon and show appropriate use. Very attractive game used lot from the Pirates 1971 World Series Championship season!!!
