The 1984 Kansas City Royals finished the season at 84-78 good enough to win the American League West Crown. The Royals faced off against the Detroit Tigers in the ALCS and were swept by the eventual World Series Champions. Although the Royals were eliminated in a mere 3 games the best was yet to come as the Royals came back in 1985 to capture a World Series title of there own!! 20 signatures from that 1984 team adorn this ball including Dick Howser (ss) ,George Brett, Bret Saberhagen (rookie year), Danny Jackson ( rookie year), Frank White, Hal McRae, Mark Gubiza (rookie Year), Dan Quisenberry, Willie Wilson, Jorge Orta, Bud Black, and others. Very nice team signed ball!!
