"Rickey can't score from 1st" and most days he didn't have to swiping 1,406 bases in his career. Henderson was a rare breed and love him or hate him he was one of the best players to ever play the game period. This bat was used 10/01/1982 while the A's were playing the Royals in Kansas City. In that game Henderson went 1-5 and stole his 127th base. The date and the 127th stolen base notation are written on the cupped barrel end of the bat. This bat was gifted to former usher Gordon Sailor and his Grandson Tony Sailor. A full letter of provence attesting to this from the Sailor family accompanies this bat as well as letter from PSA.
