A lifetime Kansas City Royal Paul Splittorff compiled 166 wins to go with an E.R.A of 3.81 during his career. Following his playing career Splittorff became the T.V. Color commentator for the Royals. Splittorff was elected into the a Royals Hall of Fame in 1987. Splittorff sported this gamer during the 1979 season which saw him post 15 wins. The model of consistency during his career Splittorff posted double digit win totals in 10 of his 15 seasons with the Royals. These cleats were worn by Splittorff during the 1976 season. In anticipation of a possible World Series appearance Splittorff had his name and "1976 World Series" applied to the cleats in gold. Nice game used relic from this popular pitcher!
