Freddie Patek played 14 years in the majors shoring up the middle infield for the Pirates (1968-70), Royals (1971-79), and Angels (1980-81). Patek picked up 1,340 hits, 41 Home Runs, 490 RBI, and 385 Stolen Bases. In addition to Patek's ability to handle the bat he was also an outstanding fielder. These qualities helped him receive 2 All-Star nominations (1976, 1978). A member of the Kansas City Royals Hall Of Fame Patek was all hustle an attribute that made him a fan favorite. Patek sported this lid during the 1975-79 seasons while playing for the Kansas City Royals. The hat shows moderate use and the under brim bares both his player number as well as his autograph.
