Buck Martinez played 17 years in the Majors taking the field for the Kansas City Royals (1969-77), Milwaukee Brewers (1978-80), and Toronto Blue Jays (1981-86). Martinez racked up 618 Hits, 58 Home Runs, and 321 RBI's during his playing career. Following his playing career Martinez got into broadcasting working as color commentator for various affiliates including a stint with TSN and ESPN. That work has continued to present day excluding a brief hiatus when Martinez managed the Toronto Blue Jays during the 2001 and part of 2002 season. This bat dates to the 1969-72 seasons. The bat was originally used by Martinez but at some point pitcher and teammate Ted Abernathy took over as the primary as his player number 36 rests on the knob. Nice dual used bat from these two popular players!
