Willie Mays played 22 seasons in the majors taking the field for the N.Y./ San Francisco Giants (1951-72) and the N.Y. Mets (1972-73). Considered one of the greatest center fielders of all time Mays was a 2x N.L. MVP and 12x Gold Glove recipient. This game used bat dates to the 1965-68 seasons, a period which saw Mays win an MVP and 3 Gold Gloves. The bat shows excellent use and is un-cracked. Mays player number 24 rests on the knob and a light coat of pine tar resides on the mid handle. Very nice bat with it's sole flaw being a light water stain on the left barrel. Very nice game used bat from this legendary Hall of Famer!!! PSA Authenticated and Graded 8.5.
