Jim Schaffer played 8 seasons in the majors as a back up catcher (1961-68). Following his playing career Schaffer was an important member of the Kansas City Royals 1980 and 1985 World Series coaching staffs. This gamer was used by Schaffer during the 1965-68 seasons. The bat shows heavy use. Nice gamer from this popular player and coach!!!
