Yogi Berra played for 19 years in the Majors all in New York (Yankees 1946-63 & Mets 1965). Berra collected 2,150 hits, 358 Home Runs, and 1,430 Rbi's during his career. Berra was named to the All-Star team 14 times and was named league MVP 3 times (51,54,& 55). The before mentioned makes it easy to understand why he was elected to the National Baseball Hall Of Fame in 1972. Beyond his offensive ability Berra also possessed world class defensive skills.
