New York Yankees Payroll Check Signed Jacob Ruppert & Fred Hoffman

Fred Hoffman was a catcher for the New York Yankees from 1919 to 1925 and appeared in 348 games. Hoffman was apart of the first World Series title-winning Yankees team of 1938. Hoffman signed his name on the back of this offered New York Yankees payroll check dated “July 15th” 1922 for the amount of $265.32. The back of the check has printed “Salary to July 15th”. The check number is 5484 and has “The American League Base Ball Club of New York, Inc.” printed on the top. The check has also been signed by Jacob Ruppert and Tillinghast Huston. This check has punch holes from when it was cleared and they affect the Hoffman signature. This has been authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA (83386793).
