Mike Schmidt enjoyed an 18 year career in the bigs manning 3rd base for the Philadelphia Phillies (1972-89). Schmidt was a 12x All-Star and 10x Gold Glove Winner. Certainly regarded as one of the finest 3rd basemen of all-time Schmidt was a 3x N.L. MVP (1980, 81, & 86) and was a member of the Phillies 1980 World Series Championship team for which he was awarded the series MVP. Schmidt is a member of the exclusive 500 Home Run Club and was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1995. Schmidt has added his signature to the sweet spot of this limited edition hand inscribed stat ball serial numbered 404/1000. Very nice signed ball from this popular HOFer!
