Harry "Suitcase" Simpson played 8 seasons in the majors taking the field for the Cleveland Indians (1951-53 & 55), Kansas City A's (1955-57 & 1958-59), New York Yankees (1957-58), Chicago White Sox (1959), and Pittsburgh Pirates (1959). Simpson was a member of the 1957 New York Yankees A.L. Championship team and was an All-Star in 1956. This game used equips bag was used by Simpson during the 1955-57 seasons while he was a member of the Kansas City A's. The bag shows appropriate use and has Kansas City A's and Simpson's player number 38 on the bags end. This impressive bag was recycled from the A's days in Philly. The block letter Kansas City overlays the previous PHILA. Nice vintage A's bag that was used in there last year in Philadelphia and 1st year in Kansas City!!!
