"The Iron Man" played 21 seasons in the majors all with the Baltimore Orioles. Ripken picked up 3,000 + hits to go with 2 A.L. MVP awards. Ripken is of course best known for breaking Lou Gehrigs consecutive games played streak setting the new mark at 2,632 games. This hat was sported by Ripken circa 1985. The hat shows light use and Ripken's player number 8 rests on the inner band. The brim boasts an early Cal Ripken Jr. signature. Very nice signed game used relic from this baseball immortal!!!
