ll Virdon enjoyed a productive playing career that included a World Series Championship with the 1960 Pittsburgh Pirates. After his playing career concluded Virdon transitioned into the coaching and managerial ranks posting a record of 995-921 as a skipper for several teams. This jersey and stirrups grouping was worn by Gordon while he was acting in a coaching capacity for the Pittsburgh Pirates. Nice game worn lot from this popular player!!!
