Mort Cooper pitched 11 seasons in the majors leading the St.Louis Cardinals to 3 World Series appearances along the way. During 1939-44 Cooper was everything the Cardinals could ask for, 4x All-Star (1942-43 & 1945-46), N.L. MVP (1942), and N.L. Wins Leader (1942-43). The Cardinals would appear in 3 straight World Series with Cooper as there ace including Championships in 1942 and 1944. The Cardinals fittingly elected Cooper into their Hall of Fame on April 25th, 2019. This stunning plaque was presented to Cooper's family at his induction. It is identical to the plaque that hangs in the Cardinals Hall of Fame in every way. Only two of the plaques were produced with one being enshrined and one being presented to the player or surviving family members. This absolutely stunning one of a kind (unless you're planning a heist of the Cardinals HOF) piece is accompanied by a large format picture of Mort with his brother Walker in there Cardinals uniforms as well as a signed poster from Mort's induction featuring 13 Cardinal HOF attendees including Ozzie Smith, Tony LaRussa, Whitey Herzog, Tim McCarver, Scott Rolen, Jason Isringhausen, Vince Coleman, Ted Simmons, Jim Edmonds, Mike Shannon, Chris Carpenter, and Ray Lankford. Very desirable one of a kind lot!!!
