"The Iron Man" played 21 seasons in the majors all with the Baltimore Orioles. Ripken picked up 3,000 + hits to go with 2 A.L. MVP awards. Ripken is of course best known for breaking Lou Gehrigs consecutive games played streak setting the new mark at 2,632 games. This game ready bat dates to the 1986 season. The bat shows no use and Ripkens player number 8 rests of the knob. Very nice pro-model example from this popular Hall of Fame member!!! PSA letter accompanies this lot.
