Darrell Porter played 17 seasons in the Majors donning the tools of ignorance for the Milwaukee Brewers (1971-76), Kansas City Royals (1977-80), St. Louis Cardinals (1981-85), and Texas Rangers (1986-87). Porter was a 3x All-Star (1978-80) and was named the 1982 World Series MVP. This bat dates to the 1985 season and was used by Porter in the 1985 World Series. The bat is cracked and shows nice use. This item was sourced directly from legendary groundskeeper George Toma and a letter from Mr. Toma stating it's authenticity accompanies this lot. Great World Series gamer from this popular catcher!!!
